'Texas' (pictured above in green shorts), as he was known to us, was a great D man with an even better personality. He also had a quip or two before a game that set the right mood. He was also an asset to the club, who would serve as the secretary of the club and maintained a strong relationship with the Sports Union.
I remember him as a very difficult player to beat one-on-one, who was great at transitioning the puck to the forwards and could also carry the puck well. But what I mostly remember him for shouting, ‘lets go fight some crime bitches’, before a game that we then went on to dominate.
